Mechanical switch is something that I've yet to truly feel, keep in mind I'm only on 60Hz so I'm limited in terms of frames to be able to tell if there's less input lag. The only thing I enjoyed more about the Elite was that the mouse wheel had very raised bumps and I liked the feeling more than the smoother V2 mouse wheel. Side notes: The V2 is an upgrade from the Elite in every way, from comfort to customization, it's superior. Pros - Everything about the Elite and more such as, on board memory profiles (for rgb, macros etc), adjustable dpi (can change each individual dpi setting to whatever dpi you want!), much lighter, PTFE feet, adjustable sensor, less flare near the rmb for comfort, 8 buttons (one is inaccessible while using the mouse however).Ĭons - Honestly, none that I have experienced so far.
Pros - Affirmative click, comfortable, adjustable rgb ( can disable if you prefer ), ability to assign macros, 7 buttons, well reviewed.Ĭons - Locked DPI options (800,1600 etc), must open synapse upon boot to enable macros & rgb, costs more than the V2
I decided to make this for those first time buyers, as well as those of you who are uncertain if it's worth upgrading from the Elite to the V2, hope this helps! Feedback would be great especially if you disagree or have certain preferences with either mouse :) I didn't really know where to make a review on the Razer website so I thought I'd put this here :)
